I am ready to be shot down or proven right on my thoughts for the BTCC and MG's on the grid,

1.WSR sell Rob Collards car to DW Racing UK.
2.WSR buy the two ex-German ZS's and these will be driven by Rob C and Colin T.
3.Kartworlds car is converted to run the JUDD engine.

Thus giving us 4 cars to cheer on :flag1:

If only half of what you're proposing comes to fruition, at least we'll have 2 cars onthe grid again :)

Its been annouced that WSR are to race 2 cars, with the RAC as prime sponsors, its in latest Autosport apparently!

Drivers to be announced!

With the RAC as main sponsers does that mean the cars are going to be that awfull orange colour like the recovery vans? I sincerely hope not, the Halfrauds orange on the Integra's spoilt the look of those cars IMO.

Edit: Ah spoke too soon....

Pity they cant incorporte the Viper stripes...
Somehow it just dont look like an MG race car anymore

Somehow it just dont look like an MG race car anymore We all were disapointed when it lost the green stripes and went silver but we got used to it. Now, I suppose, we will have to get used to orange. I must admit to being surprised that they have made it quite so orange as it won't stand out from the Halfords cars. Maybe they are hedging their bets so even if the Integras do get in front it will still look like a MG 1 2 3 4. I aggree it would be better if those Viper stripes had been incorporated. But Hey!! The futures bright! THE FUTURES ORANGE! Oh no! Did I really say that?

24 hours later and it looks like i am half right so far :happy1:

The cars could be painted pink with yellow spots who cares we have at least 2 cars doing the full season :uj2:

Could have had Orange cars with Blue stripes to match the RAC logo in Blue! There's still time (remember the white pre-release cars with charcoal stripes of last year??? That soon changed;) )

I wonder if the RAC will choose to display the cars as part of their media advertising?

EDIT : Possibley ironic that MG's came with AA cover as standard from new, then were video'd on the back of a 'Green Flag' truck for the BTCC adverts, for them to now have RAC sponsorship?

Excuse me, some of us were born with the hair naturally. After having hairist comments over the years I find it funny that a large motorsport community now wishes to copy me with such a fabulous colour.

I, however, will be dying mine black so it doesn't clash with the new WSR RAC Polo shirts.

This year could be the brightest yet now that we are moving away from the boring black and green/silver. We must all show our allegence to the best team in the pits and give the ZS a send off she deserves. (I can't see WSR and RAC building a ZS to S2000 spec for next year, no matter how much I cross my fingers.)
