...is what the salesman said to me today at my local Dutton Forshaw Rover dealer, talking about one-year-old and last-of-line MG Zeds and Rovers. Apparenty they're selling like hotcakes. They also sell Nissans as well, but the Rovers and MGs are outselling the Nissan stock - new and used - by at least 3 to 1.

Now why the f'k couldn't that have happened while the company was still afloat...we may still have been able to buy new MGs! :banghead:

Has Joe Public suddenly realised what he had and has now lost? I must admit while we were there today dotting the i's and crossing the t's regarding our upcoming ZR purchase, they also sold a 75, an F, and someone else was taking a "phase 2" ZR out for a test drive. We were only there 45 mins! :yikes:

(ZR latest news: we take delivery on Friday! :drink2: )

Where in the country is this just out of interest ?
We took delivery of our new Zed 2 weeks ago.

Talking about two ends of the stick. There's a ZT260 on ebay which is going for 14k. Perhaps its the big engine!

Any bites on your ZT260 Andy? My friend was not in the market which is why I did not see any need coming back to you yet.

Autotrader was a Dead loss :angry: as per usuall but it goes in Autocar for 4 weeks as of the 21st of Sept, then the MGOC magazine for October & it"s on my website.

eBay? Trouble is, as I've found, everyone wants everything given to them on eBay...reason I'm ending up with a ZR is because I'm trading in a car I can't get shot of any other way!

Sorry old fruit, because we've got the same car, down to the bolt people would say there goe's Andy's old car.:rotfl:. Just blown my spare bunce on a warrenty and the excess on my wife's car after she rearranged the gate post.:girl:

I think whats happening is people see the last of the new MG-R's going. If I was a betting man the second hand mod MG's will start to appreciate within the next 8 to 10 months. :clap:. Not bothered though, mine is for life.
