i ran (well walkied 90%) the Great north run

just over 3:46 to do it and i had 3/4 of a mile to do before i started it

im xxxx to put it mildly but i have till next year to recover and do it all over again :dancing: :dancing:

I did the Great North Run back in 91. Fantastic route though

BTW just seen on the news that four men have lost their lives whilst doing the run :(

:eek: I hadn't heard that. I did see some of the commentary on the run and people were saying it was really hard going today, hot conditions and they nearly/had fainted. :(
