Famous mini worh that Much :
when I look at it as a car (which it is) I must say that it isnīt worth that much. There are other Honda-powered classic Minis "on the market" which have their original shape and are not lengthened at the front.
Okay - it is famous car... because of this there surely will by people which want to buy it for this price.

Putting some perspective on the price, with the exchange rate that is almost £30k. It sounds a lot but this a custom build and it would be impossible to do your own at a similar price unless you allow for free labour and a lot of time and effort!
Considering the power and performance, the one downside is the body will rust :) and so it would have to be an expensive toy for someone.
On the other hand, Mark Evans is still trying to sell his MGB Roadster that he built up on the TV show "MG is Born" - and he is struggling to find buyers at £20k. The car is largely standard and not modified to the same degree as the Mini above, but it has to be said that in any custom build the cost is never recovered.
It will be interesting to see if it sells at the BIN price.
It is clever of the seller to market it in the US, though, as the car could be imported there given its age. But as Gust says, pity about the lengthened bonnet.
I like the reason for selling :D
